Joiner - Band 5

Keenan Recruitment is recruiting for a skilled Joiner for a full-time, ongoing contract in the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald. 

Band 5 £15.33 per hour.

37.5 hours per week.

JOB SUMMARY

Working within the Trust’s Estates Services team, the purpose of the Tradesperson [Joiner] role is to carry out a wide range of planned and unplanned tasks, ensuring the safe, effective and economic installation and maintenance of the Trust’s engineering systems and physical assets.

The jobholder will install, maintain, service, fault find, diagnose, repair and reinstate into service a range of building elements, fixtures and fittings. The jobholder will be employed to work on equipment appropriate to their core specialist skills. 

CRITERIA

Must have completed a formal apprenticeship as a carpenter/joiner.

In addition to his/her apprenticeship, the applicant must hold a relevant qualification at least at NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) together with a minimum of 3 years post
